Joyce Moy (Executive Director, AAARI at CUNY)

Dr. Joyce Moy talks about her strong belief that it is imperative for local trade and community organizations to work as a bridge between small business owners and local regulatory agencies. This includes all entrepreneurs and minority immigrant entrepreneurs so that everyone understands business requirements and laws, particularly for those for which English is not their native language. She discusses the need for the business community on a national level to understand the value of what immigrant small businesses have brought to the table in terms of economic and cultural contributions.
