Joe Bruhin  (Former CIO, Constellation Brands Inc.)


Joe Bruhin discusses the Internet of Things which he refers to as the Internet of Connectivity. He provides statistics on the IoT including that by 2025 more than 25 billion devices will be connected and talking to each other and other devices. He also points out that it is predicted that companies that have already implemented a IoT strategy will be ten percent more profitable in the marketplace. Bruhin provides examples of companies that have been successful in implementing smart technology and IoT.

Mr. Bruhin has over 30 years as an information technology professional and leader. Most recently, he was the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Constellation Brands Inc. where he directed all aspects of the organization’s information technology activity supporting the organization's strategic goals. He is co-founder of the SIM Western New York chapter, where he currently serves as both Vice President & Programs Co-Chair.
