Joel Peterson, Chairman, and founder of Peterson Partners and Chairman of JetBlue Airways talks with Sarder TV correspondent, Vanessa Tyler, about his career and his leadership style. He tells the story of how his first job out of business school was working on the Riviera for a company that had very little money. He talks about what it was like to be a CFO at a very young age and what he learned from the experience. Peterson discusses his adjacent academic career as a Professor at Stanford University. He points to his many years in management and how it helped form his style of leadership which is based on building a mutual relationship of trust so that problems can be solved together.
