Frank Ford explains some of the exercises his company uses to teach corporate clients the essentials of improvisation and to recognize “happy accidents.” According to Ford, it can start simply with a declarative statement that is met with yes and then expanded and built upon as an idea. He provides an example of how his company took a perceived problem and changed their perspective to make it a positive that led to increased sales and a bigger presence in social media.
