Presently Ira is a SharePoint Technical Specialist at Microsoft working in the New York Metropolitan District. In this role he has assisted numerous companies deploy and exploit the full set of features and capabilities of the SharePoint platform. He also presents frequently at SharePoint conferences and conducts training workshops. In addition he has written numerous white papers for Microsoft on BizTalk Server, Customer Care Framework and InfoPath.

In this video, Fuchs talks about why he decided to write two books on SharePoint. He talks about how non-programmers can build useful mini applications using SharePoint which he thought was important to share through his books.
