Joyce O. Moy talks about the mission of the New York State Small Business Development Center, where she worked as Director. She goes over the overall goal of the organization, which is to provide resources for small businesses and get them the help they need to succeed. Ms. Moy discusses some of the specific programs that the Development Center provides including one-on-one financial counseling, and providing access to resources such as grants and loans. She gives an example where the organization can step in as an intermediary between small businesses and regulatory agencies to clear up misunderstandings.
