In this video, Riazi talks about how innovation should come paired with accountability and responsibility for the impact that a new product can have on society and on the environment. She discusses how she is all for innovation but it is important as technologists to look at all of the implications around a new development. According to Riazi when something new is created, there will always be byproducts and new uses for that innovation, some that will be interesting and some that could be frightening.
