Kevin Mulcahy talks about the importance of cognitive diversity within the workforce and how diversity and inclusion are two sides of the same coin. He discusses how having the right mix of different points of view and different cultures, is essential in overcoming what he refers to as the unconscious bias that exists in any organization. Mulcahy points out how any diversity initiative must be supported by top management to be successful and it must be clear that bias or prejudice will not be tolerated.
