Phil has over 28 years of experience in IT field and is the author of "The Strategic CIO: Changing The Dynamics of the Business Enterprise". He is also the co-author of a Harvard Case study.

He is also the President of Strategere Consulting, where he works with clients to develop business and IT strategies that focus on achieving business outcomes.

Previously he was Managing Principal (Professional Services for IT Business Management) at BMC Software and also held Managing Principal positions in the Professional Services organizations of ITM Software, CAI, and Sapient.
